It is notable this week that many product totals have come down since our last report, those among them the 2021 collector silver and gold American Eagles and the 2021 Morgan and Peace silver dollar issues.
The biggest loser was the proof gold Eagle 4-coin set with new design. It saw a decrease of 1,765.
After the fast pace of sales of these items, it’s likely to take a while for the Mint to balance its books.
On the other end of the spectrum, this week also shows some significant gains in sale totals. The 2021-S silver proof Eagle with new design jumped by a whopping 58,538 since our last count for a total of 256,935. Another strong showing is the 2021 proof set, which climbed 11,759 to a current total of 359,767.
New to the charts this week are two sets: the 2021 limited edition proof set and the 2021 uncirculated set. The proof set totals 48,286 and is no longer available online, suggesting that its max mintage has been sold. The unc. set has reached 153,895 after six days on sale.
We have ticked over to October for monthly bullion sales. 2021 gold Buffalo coins are on the board at 12,500, bringing the year-to-date total to 272,000. Gold 1- and 1/2-ounce Eagles as well as silver Eagles have also posted totals for the month thus far.
