The fifth and final 2011 5-ounce America the Beautiful silver uncirculated collector version of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area quarter went on sale at the U.S. Mint’s website and telephone call center at noon Eastern Time Feb. 9.

Price of the 3-inch diameter coin is $204.95. With silver at $34 a troy ounce, that represents a mark-up of 20 percent, one of the better deals on the marketplace for a collector coin as world mint silver collector issues tend to be priced at twice bullion value.

The 5-ounce coin features a “P” mintmark to help distinguish it from the standard 5-ounce silver bullion issue of the same design, which has no mintmark.

This easy-to-search pricing and identification download is solely focused on U.S bullion coins.

The Chickasaw collector coin has what the Mint calls an uncirculated finish.

A mintage maximum of 35,000 is in effect, matching the level of the other four 2011-dated issues.

All five 5-ounce collector coins remain on sale. None is close to a sellout. The 2011 Gettysburg design has achieved the highest level of sales for coins with this date at 19,109.

Reflecting this moderate demand level, the Mint imposed no household order limits when the Chickasaw coin became available.

To order, visit the U.S. Mint website at www.usmint.gov, or telephone (800) US-MINT.

A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 is charged on all orders within the United States.
