For silver Eagle bullion coins, sales in the third week of October were identical to those of the second week. The Mint shipped 200,000 of them. This is the same as last week but lower than the 260,000 vended during the first week of October.
For the month as a whole, 1,330,000 have been sold. This is half the sales pace registered in September. In August 1,530,000 silver Eagles were sold. October could equal August by adding another 200,000 in the next seven days. Will this same sales number occur for three weeks in a row?
Clad 2018-S proof sets advanced by 5,617, while the silver version rose 4,642. Uncirculated coin sets were up 3,062.
