Mint Stats: Yosemite 5-ounce coin sells out

The 2011 Vicksburg 5-ounce bullion coin went on sale June 20 and the early demand was not particularly high. The 9/11 Memorial medal’s first week saw sales of 50,998 pieces, with the West Point product outselling the Philadelphia version by a 2-1 margin. The numbers are listed near the bottom in the far right column on the next page.

Sales of the one-ounce gold bullion American Eagle coin has reached an even half million. The one-ounce silver bullion American Eagle is nearing 22 million pieces.
