Alabama club elects officers

The Madison County (Alabama) Coin Club elected officers when it met Dec. 3.

The are Kurth Springfield, president;’ Harold Fears, vice president; Richard Jozefiak, secretary, Mike campbell, treasurer, and Bob Jaques, board member.

Jaques, outgoing club president, was present an award by Springfield “In Appreciation & Recognition of Outstanding Leadership as President of the Madison County Coin Club 2008-2012.”

The club was founded in 2001 and is an ANA member club. It meets the fourth Monday of every month, except May and December, at the Huntsville Senior Center in Huntsville, Ala. At the Jan. 23 meeting, mike Ford will speak about $3 gold pieces and at the Feb. 27 meeting, Charles Cataldo will give a talk on the “State of the Coin Market.”
