A pair of two-day events will mark the launch of the newest America the Beautiful quarters from the U.S. Mint.
First up is the American Memorial Park quarter, which honors the thousands of American troops and local residents of Saipan who gave their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II.
A coin forum will take place on Monday, Apr. 29, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (ChST) at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center Theatre, located on Micro Beach Road, Garapan, Saipan CNMI.
The following morning, a quarter launch and coin exchange commences at 10 a.m. (ChST) at the American Memorial Park Amphitheater, also on Micro Beach Road.
Just a few days later, a War in the Pacific National Historical Park quarter – honoring the bravery and sacrifices made by men and women during the campaigns of the Pacific Theater during World War II – will have its turn.
A coin forum will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (ChST) at the War in the Pacific National Historical Park in the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center, located at Marine Corps Drive (outside Navy Base main gate) in Sumay, Guam.
The following quarter launch and coin exchange will begin at 10 a.m. (ChST) on Friday, May 3, at the War in the Pacific National Historical Park found at Asan Beach Park in Asan, Guam.
