Paper currency hasn’t been forgotten in the frenzy of the ANA Chicago World’s Fair of Money. Both Heritage Auctions and Stack’s Bowers Galleries have begun to place their ANA auction catalogs online.

One of many notable highlights to look forward to in the Stack’s Bowers auction is a Fr. 345d 1880 $500 Silver Certificate grades PMG Fine 15. This note hasn’t been seen in auction since 2006 and is the only privately-owned example of its catalog number. Stack’s Bowers will also be offering notes from the Tarzan Collection, the Cape May Collection, and the Silver Springs Collection.

All pieces up for auction is currently available for viewing online at www.stacksbowers.com and the live sale will be held August 16-21. Internet only auctions will take place August 23-25.
