The U.S. Mint began accepting orders for its 2019 Proof Sets on March 1. The set contains 10 proof coins, each bearing the “S” mintmark of the United States Mint in San Francisco.
In addition to five America the Beautiful Quarters, each set includes one Native American $1 coin (with a reverse design featuring Mary Golda Ross writing calculations with an Atlas-Agena rocket launching into space), as well as one each Kennedy half dollar, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent.
New for 2019, the Mint is also including a new 2019 premium cent in a proof finish struck at West Point Mint with a “W” mintmark, packaged separately.
The Mint lists these sets for $27.95. No date has been announced at the time of this writing for when the 2019 Silver Proof Sets will be available for sale.
