Salt River 5-Ounce Leads Silver Pack

Silver is once again the focus of notable sales this week.

Newly recorded is the sales total for the 2020 America the Beautiful 5-ounce uncirculated coin honoring Salt River Bay National Historic Park and Ecological Preserve, of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Since its on-sale date of Sept. 18, buyers have snapped up a total of 12,669 coins. That puts it in the top-performer spot for the week.

Next up is the 2020 10-coin clad proof set with “W” nickel. Totaling 353,496 pieces sold, it jumped more than 4,000 from the week prior.

Claiming the number three spot this week is the 2020 10-coin silver proof set with “W” nickel with an overall total of 267,948.

A single silver coin, the 2020-W proof silver American Eagle, comes in next with its increase to 348,564 overall.

A more modest jump of 1,951 to 133,452 overall places the 2020-W uncirculated silver Eagle coin in the number five spot.

Four of the five top sellers this week are silver, proving that the metal continues to reign supreme in the current market.
