A new show has entered the realm of numismatics, known as “Coin X.” The show is led by some familiar faces in numismatics auctions such as RoundTable Trading, Scotsman Coin Auctions and Lyn Knight Currency Auctions. It is set to take place Nov. 7-9 in the St. Charles Convention Center in Missouri.
Planned for the show are more than 100 dealer tables, live auctions, evening events, games, activities for children and giveaways. The major grading services for both coins and paper money will be in attendance.
A robust auction lineup is in store. Lyn Knight will hold a paper money sale Thursday, Nov. 7, and a Scotsman jewelry and heirloom auction is slated for Friday, Nov. 8, followed by a Collector’s Auction.
Activities set for Saturday, Nov. 9, include a treasure hunt, Ancient Coin Blackjack and a Numismatic Youth Auction.
Organizers say the goal of the show is to “bring the power of social media and technology to the real world,” through its auctions while placing an emphasis on attracting members of the younger generation to the hobby with YN-focused activities.
Show admission is free. For more information, visit www.coinxrt.com.
