New Issues: Fresh Design for Classic Theme
The reconstruction design adds a fresher three-dimensional look to the Elephant coin.
The spring CIT launch had a little something for everybody, from new editions of classic coins, like the newest edition in the Numismatic Icons, to something completely new that will have your imagination running wild with the possibilities.
One of these coins is the Reconstruction – Elephant coin. Collectors of modern issues are familiar with the many series released around The Big 5, so this elephant coin with its inscription Savanna Power on the reverse has many collectors wondering if this will be another such series, though the reconstruction design adds a fresh twist to the classic theme. The 2oz silver coin cuts the mighty elephant into ribbons, giving the whole coin a fun, artistic design, with ribbons breaking up the edge of the coin.
