In recognition of this historic offering, Stack’s Bowers Galleries is also waiving the Buyer’s Premium on these First Strike coins.
Stack’s Bowers Galleries has been chosen by The Royal Mint of the United Kingdom to auction a unique collection of First Strike gold and silver bullion coins. The auctions will occur on Monday, September 30, and Tuesday, October 1. This selection includes the first 2023 Coronation 1oz Gold and Silver coins, the 2023 Coronation Britannia coins, the 2024 Britannia and Liberty coins, and the 2024 Lion and Eagle coins. These coins are some of the first to be minted in the name of King Charles III, featuring innovative designs from The Royal Mint.
Collectors will have the chance to bid on these exclusive First Strike coins that are unavailable elsewhere. Each coin struck with precision under the supervision of King’s Assay Master Daniel Thomas and Royal Mint CEO Anne Jessopp will be individually presented and graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC). Some of the most important coins will have labels signed by Thomas and Jessopp.
To celebrate this offering, Stack’s Bowers Galleries is waiving the Buyer’s Premium for these coins. This means the highest bid (hammer price) will be the final price, excluding taxes and shipping.
