Army commem to fund museum
With every 2011 U.S. Army commemorative coin that collectors buy from the U.S. Mint, money is raised for the future national Museum of the United States Army. On July 13 the Army Historical Foundation announced that the museum will be located at Virginia’s Fort Belvoir North Post. The decision was made by Secretary of the Army John M. McHugh

On July 13 the Army Historical Foundation announced that the museum will be located at Virginia’s Fort Belvoir North Post.
The decision was made by Secretary of the Army John M. McHugh.
The foundation’s executive director, retired Brigadier General Creighton W. Abrams Jr. said the decision “gives our construction plans a boost in momentum.”
