Special hotel rates are available for those attending the American Numismatic Association National Money Show April 7-9 in Atlanta.

The Renaissance Waverly on Galleria Parkway is the headquarters hotel for the show and the Sheraton Suites Galleria on Cobb Parkway is the secondary hotel.

Both hotels have special ANA group rates and are adjacent to the Cobb Galleria Convention Centre, location of the educational exhibits, seminars and a sold-out dealer bourse.

To make reservations, contact the Renaissance Waverly at (770) 953-4500 and the Sheraton Suites Galleria at (770) 955-3900.

Admission to the National Money Show is free, with valid photo identification, and the event is open to both ANA members and non-members. Touted as family events, ANA conventions have a number of numismatic activities for all kinds of collectors.

There?s a bourse where hundreds of dealers sell everything from state quarters to supplies to various types of rare and collectible coins and paper money from the United States and around the world, from ancient to modern times.

Another highlight is an entertaining and educational collector exhibit area where members display their collections and compete for awards.

?The individual creativity in the exhibit area is rivaled only by the quality and variety of the items on display; each invites the viewer into the World of Money,? said ANA executive director Chris Cipoletti.

Heritage Numismatic Auctions, the event?s official auctioneer, will conduct lot viewing and auction sessions throughout the week.

Host clubs for the Atlanta show are the Georgia Numismatic Association and the Metropolitan Coin Club of Atlanta.
