Two new members to fill vacant positions on the 11-member Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee are being sought by the U.S. Mint. Deadline for application is Nov. 13.
Persons eligible to serve four-year terms on the panel must be qualified either in American history or medallic arts/sculpture.
The CCAC advises the Treasury secretary about proposed coin and medal designs and suggests which historical events or figures are worthy of commemoration.
Applicants must write a letter specifying which position they are applying for and include a resume or curriculum vitae that lists educational credentials, skills, talents and experience.

CCAC members are considered Special Government Employees, who are subject to applicable conflict of interest laws and ethics regulations.
