Six sections of the upcoming Standard Catalog of German Coins, 1501-Present, 3rd Edition, are now available as downloads.
Although the book will not be available until November, the numismatic staff at Krause Publications has readied downloads that offer listings, photographs and values for each of six states.
The states available are Schaumburg, Hesse, Augsburg, Osnabruck, Leuchtenberg and Stralsund.
Each download contains:
• Photos and illustrations of coins
• Details about obverse and reverse images on each coin
• Date of issue and mintage (when known)
• Value in up to five condition grades
The available downloads and their prices are:

• German States Coins: Hesse, $6.99
• German States Coins: Augsburg, $7.95
• German States Coins: Osnabruck, $4.99
• German States Coins: Leuchtenberg, $2.95
• German States Coins: Stralsund, $4.95
The downloadable files are compatible with Mac and PCs, and require Adobe Reader to be viewed.
