Group to give out Israel EC at meeting
All members of the American Israel Numismatic Association and the general public are invited to attend the annual joint meeting of the AINA and the Israel Coins and Medals Corporation at 1-3 p.m. Aug. 18. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Room 22 of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago.

The meeting is free. Attendees will hear an illustrated lecture by Oded Paz, AINA board member, about Judaic elongated coins. Arthur Boxer, CEO of the Israel Coins and Medals Corporation, will also reveal plans for future issues. Everyone who attends the meeting will receive a free Israel elongated coin.
AINA was founded in 1968 and invites anyone interested in coins of the Holy Land from ancient Judaea to modern Israel or medals and tokens from Jewish communities around the world to join. Members receive the bimonthly Shekel magazine and a free annual medal.
