Independent Coin Grading has added a seventh grader to its growing team, as the company hopes to provide faster turnaround times for its customers.
James Davis, of Colorado Springs, Colo., is the newest member, the second grader hired by ICG in the past six months.
Davis started collecting coins 35 years ago. He is an American Numismatic Association life member and took his first classes on grading coins at the ANA in the early 1980s. He founded the South Bay Coin Club and before joining ICG, Davis owned four coin shops in southern California. He enjoys error coins and is an expert in all U.S. coins.
“He brings years of experience and is a perfect complement to the best team in the business,” says Keith Love, ICG’s founder and CEO.
Davis joins Love, J.P. Martin, Walt Armitage, Larry Wilson, Sue Berg and Cameron Kiefer as ICG graders.
