Mint lifts order restriction

Order restrictions were lifted Aug. 9 on the 2010 Grand Canyon America the Beautiful 5-ounce uncirculated collector coin with a “P” mintmark. Until then, purchasers were limited to one coin each.

But with 2,783, more than 10 percent of the mintage, still in stock, the Mint will now allow anyone to purchase any number of the coins.

Price is $279.95 per coin. Sales began June 29.
