A new showroom has been opened by Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange at 2817 Forest Lane.
The new location has more than 7,500 square feet, according to Kris Oyster, managing director of numismatics.
It accommodates 50 employees, who are busy handling rare coins, paper money, bullion, watches and diamond and platinum jewelry. The firm does watch and jewelry repair on site.
Part of DGSE Companies, the firm also has its Superior Galleries Showroom in Beverly Hills, Calif., and stores in Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Euless, Texas.
Company-wide, there are 100 employees.
Oyster commented, ?We are seeing a boom in business as a result of the metals prices. People are cleaning out their jewelry and coins and cashing in at these new high prices.?
