NW Territorial acquires Graco
Northwest Territorial Mint announced May 19 that it has acquired Graco Awards, a prime contractor of medals and service ribbons for the Defense Supply Center and other U.S. government agencies. The combined entity will now employ more than 300 people at seven locations across the United States.

The combined entity will now employ more than 300 people at seven locations across the United States. The acquisition of Graco Awards will also add an additional 30,000 square feet of production facilities to Northwest Territorial Mint’s 150,000-square-foot manufacturing capacity.
Graco Awards’ product quality and customer service, delivery, dependability, and accuracy was recognized with a Vendor Excellence Award by the Defense Logistics Agency, which manages more than 5 million consumable items for the U.S. military, according to Northwest Territorial Mint.
With this acquisition, Northwest Territorial increases the depth and span of its sales coverage in the market by welcoming more than 60 employees from Graco.
Among the significant military awards manufactured by Graco are the Medal of Honor, the Silver Star and the Purple Heart.
Since 1984, Northwest Territorial Mint has specialized in designing and creating custom coins, medallions and related items for individuals and institutions worldwide. Its coins have been handed out by the President, the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
