A speech to employees of the West Point Mint to mark its 75th anniversary will be delivered June 5 by Acting Mint Director Dick Peterson.
The event will be marked by the presence of news media, but it will not be open to the public.
Sales of the two-coin silver American Eagle sets to mark the occasion commenced May 9 and were slated to run for four weeks.
There is no predetermined mintage. The Mint will fulfill all orders.
Price of the set is $139.95. It contains a reverse proof silver Eagle and the new enhanced uncirculated Eagle.
