Poll: What’s one feature you would add to modern coins to make them more collectible?

Tap into this country's hundreds of thousands of fine artists to create new designs for all circulating coinage. So many of the quarter designs were just plain boring. Any college-level fine arts major could have done a MUCH better job and saved those programs.

My thought on the subject of collecting would be making the running series shorter. State quarters are nine years, and American women quarters are four years. That seems like a good period. But maybe it’s because it's the dollar and not exactly pocket change.

To make modern coins more collectible, I would remove all dead presidents from them. The older coins (Walking Liberty Half, Mercury Dime, Buffalo Nickel, for example) had a lot more to offer.

I would like to see every coin from every mint carry a mint mark and a date stamp for when it was minted.

All non-bullion coins containing silver should state that on one of their faces, for example, "900 FINE SILVER," without needing to state the quantity.
