What would you do if you had more time to dedicate to the hobby? Why?
From the February 16, 2024, Numismatic News E-Newsletter Readers’ Poll – More time to collect?
The hard part of this question makes me wonder if I would spend it on my coins or find another hobby to go with it. My mind is always moving, so who knows.

Well, having retired, I now have more time. Joined three numismatic clubs. I participate in their Young Numismatists' programs/presentations. I've written several articles for the local newsletters. Given several presentations. Man, the club table(s) at our local shows where I get to talk to folks about our great hobby.
I especially love being engaged with the young and aspiring numismatists. They are our future.

Only wish time was my only problem. I have 4 years of boxes on the hearth of my fireplace that need sorting and being put away. Think laziness plus some sickness is my biggest problem right now. Wife has threatened to throw them out soon, maybe next week!

I would attend more coin shows around the country. I’d like to get a better sense of what other coin shows are like.

If I had more time, I would try to attend more garage sales and flea markets. I would probably also stop by more banks and buy boxes of coins to sort through for errors and/or silver. These hunts are inexpensive, fun, and potentially rewarding.

I would go on a road trip and visit the Carson City Mint, which is now a museum.
