This is the first coin in a new series from the Austrian Mint called The Uncharted Universe. There will only be three coins in this series and all have been released as of this writing. The other two are The Black Hole and The Neutron Star. The concave, convex strike of The Milky Way coin gives it a sort of S shaped appearance, much like our home galaxy; however, when viewed from the side the edge looks entirely straight. It’s a stunning coin and also a learning experience as all the scientific details and information this coin presents are accurate.
