Tree of Life Coin First in New Series

NumisCollect, on behalf of the government of Palau, has started the new series "Dot Art." This new series includes designs composed out of dot art and pointillism, an art technique made popular by 1800s painter, George Seurat.

The first coin of this series is the Tree of Life. The new black proof coin was made using Smartminting technology on a 65mm 3-ounce blank. The obverse features an artistic depiction of the Tree of Life while the reverse features the special Palau coat of arms. Inscriptions are "2020," "REPUBLIC OF PALAU," "Dot Art," and "20 Dollars."

The mintage limit for this coin is just 333 pieces and is expected to be available by the end of May, depending on the coronavirus outbreak. At the time of this writing, the price was not available.
