After a brief production hiatus at the mint due to the coronavirus, it looks like they are getting back on track.
Starting May 18, the Mint is releasing three new products related to the Weir Farm: ATB Weir Farm National Historic Site rolls and bags, a 2020 America the Beautiful 5-ounce silver Uncirculated coin, and a Coin Roll Collector Box.
The rolls and bags range from $19.75 for a 40-coin roll, with the coins minted at the San Francisco facility, to $49.25 for a 3-roll set from the Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver mint facilities. At the time of this writing, there is no order, household, or mintage limit.
The 2020 America the Beautiful 5-ounce Uncirculated coin features an artist on the reverse wearing a painter's smock, painting outside Julian Alden's Weir studio at Weir Farm. Inscriptions are "WEIR FARM," "CONNECTICUT," "2020," "E PLURIBUS UNUM, " and “A NATIONAL PARK FOR ART.” The cost for this item is $178.25.
The third and final item is the Coin Roll Collector Box. At the time of this writing, there is no further information on this item.
All products mentioned above will go on sale on May 18 at noon ET. Products can be ordered by calling 1-800-USA-MINT or by visiting the U.S. Mint website.
