In February, Dix Noonan Webb announced that Tim Wilkes, one of the world’s leading experts in Islamic coinage, has joined their Coin Department.
Wilkes brings considerable experience to DNW. For 10 years, he worked at A.H. Baldwin & Sons Ltd, becoming a director in 2003. He left in 2008 to become an independent dealer specializing in Islamic, Indian and medieval coins.
In 2015, his book Islamic Coins and Their Values was first published.
At DNW, Wilkes will work across the full range of numismatics.
